Callnetics Scores With CREA

Callnetics Corporation, the leading developer of automated real estate showing appointment scheduling and confirmation technology, today announced a strategic alliance with The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) over Canada’s leading real estate web portal, www. mls.ca. The estimated market potential for Callnetics’ automated web-and-phone services in Canada alone is valued at more than $40 million dollars per year. The Real Tour alliance represents an estimated market potential of $5-7 million dollars. Callnetics’ Real Tour service will be offered at www.mls.ca starting April 26, 2002, and allows potential homebuyers to request a home showing appointment for properties listed for sale on mls.ca. Real Tour will automatically route the showing requests to the appropriate office and agent of each participating brokerage. The offices/agents are notified by e-mail, fax and/or telephone call for each showing request. An automated follow-up system ensures that each potential homebuyer receives an appointment confirmation call or email, reducing or eliminating the risk of Internet leads that do not get a response. “This service will increase the value that mls.ca offers both consumers and Canadian real estate professionals," said Pierre Beauchamp, chief executive officer of CREA. "This partnership leverages mls.ca’s leading position as the top Canadian real estate web portal, and is designed to better serve the home-buying public and to connect them with a real estate professional.” Real Tour will be initially available to buyers, sellers and agents on properties listed in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. “Real Tour is just one of the features of the Callnetics Real Estate Appointment Engine, a patent-pending, integration of interactive telephone and web technologies.” says John Mosey, president of Callnetics. “The Real Tour feature helps real estate brokers and agents turn web window shoppers into walk-in customers and is a model of Permission Marketing where consumers volunteer personal information in exchange for personal services.” The Callnetics partnership with CREA represents access to more than 62,000 REALTORS in Canada, or more than 95% of all licensed real estate professionals and to more than 200,000 total listings. mls.ca is visited by more than 755,00 unique visitors each month and is ranked among the top 50 websites in Canada in any category.
